Default Buying A Home

Not to long ago a close family friend, recieved news that she was being evicted from the home she was renting, because the bank was going to foreclose on the home.

This news of course scared her to death, because she and the children had no place to go.

Though thanks for some great advice from friends, she went to the bank to speak with them about the possibility of buying the house herself.

After a couple of hours of being in the bank speaking to the bank manager, everything was settled.

She will be a new home owner in just a couple of years. The house payments were even set up so that she would pay the same amount each month that she was paying out in rent. This will keep her from trying to work out a new budget.

I am glad that she got this advice as well as took it. If not she would have been forced to leave her home. Though thankfully this all ended on a good note. Banks often times get a bad reputation, though sometimes they are really willing to help others out.

They were going to charge her for the remaining balance of the loan for the home. That was until she produced all the reciepts which showed all of the work and time she put into the house as well as paid others to do.

This alone lowered the cost of her home by several thousad dollars. She will only owe $7,000 for her home now.

As soon as we returned to her place we had a little celebration, and started unpacking her belongings.
