Default Buying appliences NEW

When you go buy any appliance, after it is delivered, make sure it is the one you bought and paid for.

Today after getting my new Frigidaire, I noticed it was not new, when I paid for new, it took some time on the phone, but I think it is resolved, hopefully tomorrow I will be getting the right one.

Do not let stores get away with this, once the do they will just keep ripping people off. I stand up for myself, so many people out there just let it go, for fear it will cause trouble.

I have had this same thing happen to me as well about 2 years ago. I bought a new refrigerator that despensed ice and water in the door and the one that was taken off the truck did not.

It was the same brand, size and color but wasn't the one I bought. I told the gentlemen delivering to load it back up that it wasn't the correct one.

They didn't like that to much but oh well. I wanted what I had paid for. The same day I did get the right one delivered, but your right if people don't stand up for themselves when it comes to this kind of stuff businesses will just continue doing it to people when ever possible.

Now I am looking into buying a freezer and wondering if the same thing is going to happen. I went looking at a few places and the least expensive place is the same one I had bought the refrigerator from.

I sure hope that you did manage to get it all straightened out Centsgirl. It's a pain in the ass when you have to argue with a company to get what you've already paid for.
