Default Buying Used Appliances

You can save a lot of money by buying used appliances rather than rushing out and putting a new refridgerator or whatever it may be on your charge card when yours goes on the bum.

Don't rush into anything. You can use a cooler for a few days if it's your fridge, a hot plate and a microwave if it's your stove or the laundromat if it's your washer or dryer. Don't run right out and create yourself a bill that you can't afford if you can avoid that.

Most towns have a used applicance store close by. Go and see what they have. Look for something that has been refurbished that may still have a warranty and is energy efficient.

Check out the local auctions. Get there early though because typically the good stuff goes first.

Ask around. Check with your neighbors and family members. They may have exactly what you need just sitting in the basement or in the garage. (You might even get it for free! Thats better than creating a bill!)
