Default Christmas Shopping

Yeah I know, I know no one wants to really discuss Christmas shopping right now when it is only late September. Though face the truth Christmas is only a few short months away here and money is tight for a whole lot of people.

After doing a little bit of research, I learned that electronics are the major sellers for Christmas and that is not expected to change this year.

Television sets are one of the biggest gifts that people purchase for Christmas, along with new cell phones and phone gadgets.

I don't know about anyone else but I do know that I personally sure could not afford to be buying TV sets and giving them away as gifts. I spend a set amount on each family member and that makes sure that I can at least get something for everyone in the family.

Though I am starting to save money now so that when the time does come for me to start shopping I will have enough money to buy something nice for everyone.

Now is a great time to start your Christmas shopping, especially if you have several children and an extended family like we do.

In fact, most prices are lower right now than they will be the closer it gets to the holidays so why not take advantage of that fact?

I always start shopping a couple of months early. And if you are going to buy anyone a big ticket item, that one will be already crossed off your shopping list and the rest of your list will be much easier to handle.

I agree it is nice to start shopping for Christmas as early as possible. I also have to admit that I tend to shop for Christmas and Birthdays all year round.

Of course some items I purchase to give as gifts are from yard sales, thrift stores and flea markets.

Now don't get me wrong I don't go around buying junk for my friends and family members, but I do what I can to save myself some money because I have a large family and it seems to continue growing,LOL.

I like to find out as early as possible what everyone wants and try to get them some of the things that they want as well as some things that they are needing.

I don't spend a whole lot on one person, that is something I cant afford to do, but I do tend to get everyone something that they want, something that they need and they always seem to be very happy with what they get.

I also love the use of Lay-Away plans as well. These are very helpful in getting the things that you want to get with out worrying about paying for it all at once.
