College Costs

The cost of attending college has risen even more putting it out of reach for even more Americans. The cost to attend a 4 year college has risen 4.4%! As if it didn't cost too much to begin with.

They say that it has become a strong sellers market for colleges. They are raking in the dough with the tuition fees and so on. They say one of the reasons for this is the decrease they have seen in grant money.

This is a big concern for me. I had no idea really how I was going to send my kids to college before, no I am totally clueless. Before I had at least though that maybe I could get a another job to help them out with the costs but now there are no jobs available as it is and it probable wouldn't be enough anyhow. My oldest daughter will be looking to go to college in just three years and she really wants to go. I really want her to go. Paying for it will be the hard part. She gets really good grades which is a big plus because I am praying she will get a scholarship to a decent college. The same goes for my son. He wants to go as well. At least I have a little longer to worry about sending him. Now for my youngest. I am not holding my breath lol. I will have to wait and see about her!

It just makes me crazy to think how much it actually costs to send them. These days you have to have a degree to get a decent paying job.
