Default College Tuition Hikes

College affordability has been an enigma for some time already but now it is expected to be worse. At least for public colleges.

In twenty-five states, governors have decided to slash college funding with a total of $5 billion nationwide.

That means students will be passed on more costs and therefore, their parents as well. Not good.

In most of those twenty-five states, the tuition increase will be as much as 22%.

The worst effected states are:

Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, Washington, Nevada, New Hampshire and Tennessee.
