Default Health and Beauty Costs

I was chatting it up with a few friends of mine and we got on the subject of health and beauty. I was truely shocked to find out that a some of them actually spend around $700.00 per month on items that promise to keep their skin looking young, or reduce dark circles under the eyes, and so on!!!

I just couldnt believe it, well that was until she showed me some of the products that she uses on a daily basis. One item she uses daily costs according the tag $100.00.

I mean come on I have alot of other things I would rather spend my money on instead of worrying about wrinkes, laugh lines, or dark circles.

Though there are thousands of people that spend just about what ever these items cost plus more trying to stop the effects of aging.

Granted I have bought facial masks and creams, though nothing that nearly costs $100.00. Heck most of the goofy things I purchase like that cost me less than $5.00 all together and they seem to work just fine for me.

Then there are designer pills and what not that promise to increase health and beauty that also cost an arm and a leg to purchase. Its just unreal what some people will do to prevent aging as much as possible.

Default Re: Health and Beauty Costs

Those are some really exorbitant prices to pay for health and beauty aids. At those prices, they do qualify as major purchases. And its not the price that makes the products, its the ingredients that are the important thing.

So by comparing the ingredients in the expensive products to the ingredients in say Olay products and finding one that matches, one could save many hundreds of dollars and still get the same end result.

And, one needs to remember that as far as wrinkles etc are concerned, what we put into our bodies is even more important than what we use on it.
