Default home and car loans

If you intend to get one of these loans in the near future you need to consider your credit rating first.

If you aren't sure where you stand get a copy of your credit report and go from there.

Start by paying off your debt and keeping it that way.

Make your payments on time monthly. If this is hard try automatic bill payments.

Making major purchases such as these are few and far in bettween for most of us. It is the smaller purchases we make with our credit cards and late bill payments that hinder us when we decide it is time to make these purchases.

This has always been a hard one for me. Ok you have to have good credit to buy anything. To me if you have good credit you dont need a loan..LOL It should be the other way around.
