The new FCX Clarity by Honda Motors, runs not on gasoline, but hydrogen. The cost to build it though, is more than a Ferrari. The first one rolled off the assembly line on Monday, and Honda reports it will be ready for mass production, when hydrogen filling stations become more common.

It looks like an ordinary family sedan, costs more to build than a Ferrari and may have just moved the world one step closer to a future free of petroleum.

This car at least looks like an ordinary car, will hold passengers, and cargo. It would be great to own one, if the price wasn't so exorbitant. Perhaps when it is mass produced, the price will come down enough so that the average American can own one. Maybe this is the type of car that our grandchildren or great-grandchildren will be driving in the future.
