Default This Is Unreal!!!

We were waiting to do our Christmas shopping til after we has sold our SUV. Well that finally sold and last night we decided to start the headache process of buying Christmas gifts for everyone.

I just cant believe some of the prices of things. Its horrible. No wonder people cant afford Christmas anymore.

Everything you look at that someone would like to have or needs is pretty much a major purchase in itself!!!

Because my daughter just moved into a new home, we decided to get her a new set of pots and pans. She has never had good ones, and we wanted to get her a set of T-Fal. Well we did budget the money so that we would spend equal amounts on each of the kids.

Well if we would have done that those pots and pans would be all she would have gotten. For just a small set of T-Fal, it was nearly $100.00!!

For our son we decided to get him a new car stereo, which he has been asking for lately. Now I will say that we did find some cheaper ones which were like $30.00 but they were also what I would call generically made and proably wouldnt work for long if at all. So his stereo ended up costing another $100.00.

Because of the prices of everything, we decided to get everyone a big present (in other words expensive) and then just a couple of small, cheap things.

I guess we just wont be getting ahead on our bills for the winter as much as we were hoping to. Oh well, as long as everyone has a great Christmas I guess that will make up for it.
