Toyota's probe threatened

The Prius, and other Toyota hybrids, might be banned from the US, this seems unthinkable, but this could happen after a patent investigation launched this week.

This case is because it centers around Paice, a tiny Florida company that patented a way to apply force to a car wheels from the electric motor or the internal combusion engine.

SO now Paice thinks that Toyota is infringing on its technology, and is going after them in court.

So if this a auto you really want I guess you better hurry up, and get one.

Wow, I am surprised that this could happen. I just wonder if it is true. Toyota is a large and well known car company, makes me wonder if they would really stoop so low as to steal ideas from another company??

Either way I am sure that it will all come out in the courts. I hope that it is found true that Toyota is found guilty of using the technology of another company that they are forced to pay for it.

If its found to be true these cars, will most likely be pulled off the road. So even it is something that your are wanting or recently purchased it may be taken away if things dont come out in favor of Toyota in court.
