Default What does it have to cost?

What does a purchase have to cost you in order for it to be considered a major purchase? For me if its over a hundred bucks its a major purchase.

I just got my propane filled and that was a whopping $800 plus. I can't believe it and damn this is going to be the last one this year if I have to freeze my tushi off until spring.

There are other major purchases that I am planning for and this took a big chunk of the money intended for those projects out of the pot. Thank god our income tax return is going to be huge this year or nothing will get done.

Unless a person has millions of dollars sitting in the bank they are struggling to keep things going. I am sorry to hear that it cost so much to get your fuel filled. It is a horrible fact that fuel prices have sky rocketed.

I am glad that you will be able to get the projects done that your wanting to.

For me anymore it seems that something that costs $50.00 is a major purchase. Sad I know but that is the way it goes I guess.

To be honest I am thankful for all that I have, evev if it isn't everything I want because I know there are people there who have it much worse than I do.

Unfortunately, major purchases are considered to be so if it is a house, a car, or a major appliance. So, we are talking hundreds to thousands of dollars, and that is a lot of money these days considering the shape the economy is in.

But one way to save on some major appliances is through the local electric company. Ours rents out hot water tanks, dish washers, washer, dryers etc for a minimal cost per month. And the great thing about these rentals is that if any of them break down, they will be fixed or replaced for free.

So do check with your electric company and see if they have something like this going on in your area.
