Default What is a Major Purchase

What do you personally consider a major purchase right now in these horrible times.

I know that right now to me pretty much anything that is $50.00 or more is a major purchase, according to my budget.LOL

It is sad but its true. Of course I am sure that there are people who would consider that nothing and things that cost thousands of dollars are major purchases.

Though everyone's budget does differ, which means that everyone is going to have a different view on what is considered to be a major purchase.

There are several things that I would like to purchase, such as a nice car for example, though this is one purchase that is completely out of the budget right now. Though the future does hold hope.

My Daughter is looking to purchase her second home, not that she is expecting her first child. This will of course be a major purchase, and proably everyone would consider the purchase of a home a major purchase.

My question to all of you is simple.....What do you consider to be a major purchase for you?

Right now it is th same as you anything over $50.00, but normally it would be anythig over $500, like a frig or stove or appliance. A car or house is more than a major purchase to me.
