Default Controlling Debt

Controlling your personal debt isn't an easy thing to do but with some self-control, it can be done.

We struggle to get by, there is no denying that but we do okay. We pay our bills and we have two credit cards with low limits on each of them and in total we owe about $1,100 on them. Thats not too bad.

I always make my payments on time to avoid paying higher interest rates and fees.

We don't have any of the extras such as cell phones on plans or anything else like that. We cannot afford the extra and we don't want to get ourselves in over our heads!

Personal debt is controllable if you just use a little self control.

Having a couple of low limit credit cards can be a good thing. One for things you have to have and one for emergencies that might come up. But always be sure to pay more than the minimum payment on them because if not, the interest rates that the credit card companies charge can eat you up and cause you to owe more than you have charged.

Making ends meet these days can be very hard to do. Right now, is when we do our buying of fresh vegetables to be frozen for use during the winter.

Plus what we grow in our own garden will be used this summer and will save us a lot on our grocery bills. For instance, when the turnips are harvested, the turnips are used yes, but you can also use the tops of the turnips to make turnip greens to go with a meal.

No waste, no want.
