Default Ear Infection Home Remedies

My poor baby girl has an ear infection and she is miserable. I call her my baby girl but she is eleven now lol.

I had an ear infection a few months ago and I went to the docs for it. That was a complete waste of time and money. Nothing they did or prescribed helped me.

Finally I just started flushing my ear with a bulb syringe and warm water and it helped.

I am trying that with my daughter but I hoping for a quick fix. Any of you have any solutions? If she isn't feeling better by tomorrow afternoon I will call the doc but I am hoping something will work before we go that route. Like I said, in my case it was just a waste going.

Let me know if you have any remedies.

I can handle keeping her from being in pain just by applying a few onion juice drops to her ear. Works like magic! But I need to get the gunk out so the infection will clear up. I can actually see it but I can't get it to come out.

Default Re: Ear Infection Home Remedies

Have you tried to place a few drops of peroxide into her ear? The foaming action should help loosen any gunk in her ear and then using the bulb syringe with warm water might get it all cleared out for her and make her pain free.

I have also heard that putting a few drops of vinegar into the ear will help relieve the pain. So try the peroxide to get it cleaned out well then if they pain persists try the vinegar.

As a kid I used to get severe ear aches all the time. My Mom always used to put warmed sweet oil in my ear, that helped a bit but never took it away completely.

Those are a few options for ya to try to help!!
