Default Full-Time With Benefits

Jobs are slowly starting to come back it seems but they are not the same as they were before the economy crashed.

Full-time employment with benefits are almost a thing of the past. Many companies have done away with a lot of the extras and some are now only hiring temporary workers.

The biggest reason for this is because there are so many people out of work that companies can offer a lot less and still have the pick of the litter as far as employees go.

It's a shame.

It seems like people will have to work twice as hard as before and get less than they did before.

All I can say is, if you have a job you better hold onto it for dear life. There are twenty other people who would snap it up in a heartbeat.

This is true and it is a damn shame. There are going to people who have worked extremely hard to get into a great career and now may only make a portion of the money that they were hoping for because of this shitty economic state this country is in.

People are becoming desperate to find employment to get any kind of an income. I know that I am honestly thankful for the job that I have and will do what I can to make sure that I continue on.

The last thing that I want to end up doing is attempting to find work, because there still aren't many jobs in this area, especially when there are only a few jobs popping up every now and then along with the hundreds of people in need of work.

Then you have to deal with working your butt off and not have any benefits to help yourself or your family if it is ever needed.

Our government needs to get off their asses and actually start HELPING the people rather than just dishing out a shit load of promises of help and then making excuses for not being able to.

It is a shame. I mean there are a lot of people out there who have worked for years and years at one company. They had benefits and paid vacations and whatnot and now it's all gone and probably won't be back. Full-time with benefits is a thing of the past.

Not only is the economy hurting us in this area, but the fact that there are so many illegal people working our jobs and for cheap because they are living together and sending their money back home to thier families.

Are we going to have to do this, live this way in order to make it in the world today? If so is it because we were stupid enough to allow them to come here and work in this manner?

What do you think?
