Default Saving on Christmas Gifts for Grandparents

Being the grandmother of 5 gorgeous grandkids, I can pretty much say that I have received some really great gifts. My favorites though are the ones that the kids have made themselves. These are truly treasured gifts, even the little clay-lopsided ones. I really love them.

Now is the time to start looking online, or in magazines for ideas for gifts that the kids can make in time for Christmas, anniversarys, birthdays, or just to give. Believe me, the recipient will love the fact that the children put a bit of themselves in the gifts.

A great gift for grandparents, parents, or other loved ones would be a little photo album, with pics of the kids, and maybe little captions written under the pics by the child.

With economy in the shape that it is in right now, I thought I would share this little thought with all of you. If you have a child, I'm sure you can come up with some ideas for gifts for Christmas or other occasions that will bring joy to the heart of the recipient.

Wink Saving on Christmas Gifts for Grandparents

Well here is a great idea to reuse dryer sheets, and this makes a great gift idea.

take 3 dryer sheets and fold length wise, like an acordian. Into about 1/2 inch to 1 inch strips.
Fold strip in half and slip top of pipe cleaner (green pipe cleaners) through and tightly twist pipe cleaner. The pipe cleaner becomes a stem.
pull layers aprart and watch the flowers bloom, Now add a few drops of perfume to center of flowers.
Then on a paint foam plate add a drop of paint and add a drop of water. Lightly brush the edges of the flowers in various colors.
Add to a vase and you have some beautiful flowers.
