Should the Guy Pick Up the Tab?

Should the guy always pick up the tab? Thats a question I heard somewhere and I have to say that it all depends on the situation.

This is the 21st century and anything goes. We wanted to be treated equally so we should pay up too. But still, it depends on the situation.

How long have you been together? What do you do for each other? What I mean by that is, does she cook for you and do your laundry? If so then pay up. It's better than you shrining your clothes! Do you fix her car? She can pay for dinner.

It just depends on what kind of relationship you have whether or not you pay for dinner or she does.

Maybe just take turns.

I so agree! It depends on the situation and the relationship. Every one is different so there is no standing rule in my opinion of who should pay. I was taught years ago that the person who did the inviting should be the one paying. But that isn't always true either.
