Default American Express.

It seems that American Express is running right past all of the other credit companies.

This doesn't really surprise me I mean I haven't heard anything negative about the company compared to many of the others.

Quote:
Shares are up 11% in the last five days and nearly 15% during the past month, outperforming Citigroup, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Capital One Financial as well as credit card companies like Visa and Mastercard, which don't have consumer loan exposure but have been doing well as customers rely on credit.
It is nice to know that this stock is doing so well. If you are an investor you may consider grabbing some of this stock.

Yes I agree they do seem to be a better company then the many others, that do have a bad reputation anymore, that I have to agree with.

I also have to say that I have never heard anything bad about American Express credit cards, and of course they are accepted practically everywhere if not everywhere.

So the news of their shares being up by 11% really isnt much of a surprise.

I have not had an American Express card in ages. Do you still have to pay what you put on it off in 30 days? That was only thing I did not like about them when I had one. Do they let you make payments now?
