Default Market rebounds.

I often wonder why the market will suddenly take a dump on reports of upset in other countries but it does. It is however on an upsweep which is great new.

Quote:

The U.S. equity market rebounded in late trading to finish higher. All three major indexes ended the day in green. The rebound in the equity market was led by retail stocks, which climbed after a strong January sales report. Stocks were also pushed higher stronger than expected economic data. Earlier in the day, market opened lower on concerns over the situation in Egypt.

The Dow Jones ended the day 0.17% higher at 12,062.26, the S&P 500 ended the day 0.24% higher at 1,307.10 and the Nasdaq ended the day 0.16% higher at 2,753.88.
This all makes me very nervous. I want to do some investing but as I watch the market scream up and down so often I think that I will just keep it in the bank.
