Yahoo is facing intense pressure from its shareholders to reopen sales negotiations, with activist investor Carl Icahn threatening to replace the Sunnyvale-based company’s entire board unless a deal can be working out before Yahoo’s July 3 annual meeting.
It seems that Microsoft may be throwing Yahoo a Bone with the pressure that Yahoo is under. With Carl Icahan threatening to replace the entire board if a deal in not met by july. It is a matter of who has more money and Carl Icahn and his supporters are doing the pushing in this case.

It makes you wonder why he wants this deal so bad that he is willing to get rid of everyone if they dont agree to it. Is it that the company is insolvent or what is actually the pushing factor in wanting to close this deal so badly?
