Default Oil.

Oil was reported at 100 a barrel. Yet again on a report about someone somewhere.

I will be damned but I needed gas and didn't buy any. It was $3.35 on my way to my daughters yesterday.

This is rediculous people up and down,up and down. Time to buy the horse and buggy. I can afford hay right but gasoline is liquid gold now adays and I can't store that in my barn. Geeze.

Default Re: Oil.

We just had to order fuel oil again and it is now at $3.49 a gallon. So this summer will find us paying monthly to the fuel oil company to take the bite out of the prices I expect to see next winter.

Why is gasoline and fuel oil etc so high? Its any bodys guess. But I personally dont see any reason for it to bounce around the way it has been.

Yea, its been a cold winter but not as cold as some have been. And with all the bad weather, not a lot of people have been on the roads for extended periods of time, so this all lowers the demand. So why the higher prices when theres a lower than usual demand on fuels of this nature?
