Default Oil Up and Down

I wish some one could explain to me why oil stock goes up and down so much. 1 minute it is $135. a barrel then its $124. a barrel and now it is up again to $130. a barrel again. I think the constant changes in the market drive people like me insane because it never stays stable for more than a day.

In the U.S., which consumes nearly a quarter of the world's oil, gasoline demand was down 1.4 percent last month from the same period a year earlier. Also, U.S. automakers are cutting production of gas-guzzling SUVs and trucks, and airlines are cutting capacity, both due to high fuel prices and the altered habits of consumers.

Default Oil Up and Down

I too agree that we all need to get together and try to do something to stabilize the cost of oil. Just about every part of the world struggles with this everyday. As for the stock market and the jumping and falling prices of oil, I do not understand this either. I have never been one to follow the market much and do not understand how it all actually works.

I have to look on the computer pretty much everyday to find
gas cheap. The up and down thing has to stop and soon. I just
can't keep up with it. We have to fight this one way or another.
Got any suggestions.
